I suggest double checking if it actually failed to save.
Maybe whatever caused that message to incorrectly show up in Wiisx hasn't been fixed for WiisxR. I believe the original Wiisx would give that message sometimes sometimes even seemingly every time you try to savebut would usually still save anyway.
